Charlotte’s style lives at the intersection of cinematic craft and emotional honesty, shaped by a sharp instinct for performance and a visual style rooted in authenticity.
She started out her career in London, cutting her teeth under legendary editor Rick Waller before relocating to New Zealand in 2009. From there she quickly became a go-to director across commercials, music videos and long-form documentary, building a reputation for work that feels both elevated and deeply human.
Charlotte has directed award-winning music videos for artists including Kimbra, Aldous Harding, Benee and The DMA’s, earning two CLIPPED Music Video Festival wins for Best Director and Best Editor. Her short film Give Kate A Voice was recognised as a Webby Honoree and took home Silver at the NZCINE Awards.
Charlotte has directed campaigns for global brands including Adidas, AIA, the NSW Government and Tourism New Zealand. She contributed to Tourism New Zealand’s globally celebrated Good Morning World platform – a multiple Global Effie Award winner that was also recognised across Cannes Lions, D&AD, Spikes Asia and the Axis Awards.
